Job Description

Pay Range: $25 to $27.50/hr. The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

PART TIME: UP TO 15 HOURS PER WEEK (The hours can be determined by the position but should include one in-person day and be part of a set schedule, the same hours each day, sometime between 830am ET and 5pm ET. Within those parameters, there is flexibility to set a schedule together that also aligns with the needs and preferences of the candidate.)

Job Description:

  • The temporary Associate for Alumni Ambassadors is responsible for providing an advanced level of direct administrative support to the Affinity Group Matriculation Campaign.
  • The Associate works with Alumni Ambassadors Program Manager, and others in Alumni Relations to launch and maintain the Affinity Group 1:1 tracking database which supports direct engagement of alumni and admitted students.
  • The Associate is also responsible for supporting the program manager with matriculation-related events, such as the support of ADOCH events and Admitted Student Receptions, as needed.
  • The position will handle other administrative duties and information technology tasks, as assigned.
  • Training will be provided to the associate position to build familiarity with the scope of work and related technical processes related to Admissions.
  • Day to day: 70% of the position will be assisting in managing development of large data tracking system. Track connections in the data sets for alumni volunteers.
  • 30% of the position is admin duties: event planning and assistance, creating reports, sending correspondence.
  • Need high level written and verbal communication skills.

Job Requirements:

  • Proficiency in managing and tracking large data sets
  • Experience working with Excel
  • Experience developing data formulas and tracking documents
  • High level of organizational skills or experience in troubleshooting
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies and explain them to others clearly
  • Patience in teaching and explaining concepts and practices to others
  • Resourceful, positive and collaborative
  • Problem-solver who loves helping others figure out solutions
  • 2 years of experience
  • Technical skills: advanced excel.
