Profile: 4–6-year minimum experienced copyeditor with a degree and solid experience proofing copy for print and digital – will support org-wide needs.

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 4−6 years of copyediting and proofreading experience with online and print content
• Fluency in Adobe Acrobat, PowerPoint, and Word—using notes and tracked changes to insert edits and queries

Responsibilities:

• Copyedit client websites and print content targeting a range of audiences (students/parents, teachers, counselors, administrators, higher education professionals, etc.).
• Align content with house style and check grammar, spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, word usage, internal consistency, and trademarks and copyrights. Modify, rewrite, and fact-check as needed. Directors of Copyediting and in-house copyediting team are available to answer all queries.
• This position requires a minimum of 40 hours per week; hours may be nonstandard and will vary depending on project deadlines.
