Job Description:

Required Experience:

• 5+ years of experience is required in other Mechanical fabrication environments including the use of CNC Machines and Lathes or maintenance of military design product.
• 5+ years of experience is required with fabricating mechanical equipment designed from a blueprint, schematic, and engineering guides.
• 5+ years of experience is required with communicating issues (both verbal and written) with the design and/or the process requirements to management and or engineers.
• 5+ years of experience is required with utilizing software tools and Microsoft products
• Must be able to determine the metal stretch with respect to the metal type and bend radius required.
• Ability to fabricate test equipment designs from a blueprint of the layout, schematic, bill of material, and engineering practices manual as guidelines.
• Self-starter able to perform tasks with minimal supervision

Desired Skills:

• Ability to program CNC’s utilizing Catia based software
• Experience in procurement and acquisition of test materials
• Experience interpreting and building to Lockheed Martin Test Equipment engineering
• Prior experience in leadership positions a plus

More:

• Fabrication will include the ability to machine hardware and fixtures utilizing CNC Machines and Lathes to Engineering Drawing specifications.
• Should also be able to work with Sheet Metal to fabricate boxes and panels when required.
• In addition, these lower-level assemblies are to be built-up into single, or multi-bay cabinet assemblies, for the delivery to Engineering or Manufacturing Production areas.
• This position will provide the opportunity for the candidate to work as individual contributor, in a team environment.
• This would include collaborating with Engineers, and other members of the Fabrication team including other Fabricators, Draftsmen, Procurement, and Quality Inspectors.
