Work Schedule: 9/80 Schedule [We work 9-hr days Mon-Thur and an 8-hr day every other Friday. It ends up being 80hrs over 9 days. Note: Some overtime or weekend support may be required but is not planned.]

Job Description:

• This position performs a variety of duties assisting thermal insulation products engineers in the design, fabrication, packaging, inventory and integration of Space Vehicle MLI.
• The preferred candidate will be a self-starter able to work independently or in small teams to fabricate MLI products from 2D design templates and install MLI products onto space flight hardware at the unit, subsystem, and system levels per installation drawings and procedures.
• Individual must be able to follow standard MLI processes and maintain necessary certifications.
• This position may be required to perform other duties as assigned.
• Must be willing to work any shift and extended work weeks. Some travel may be required.

Education Background:

• High school diploma or equivalent and 1-2 years additional education and/or related experience.
