WORK SHIFT: 1st shift (9/80) 5:00AM to 2:30PM

Job Description:

• Looking for a Microelectronics Technician 2 to support our molecular beam epitaxy (MBE) department. As a member of the MBE department you’ll work alongside material science engineers and equipment support engineers.

Responsibilities:

• Use characterization systems to analyze wafers for Engineering review.
• Semiconductor wafer handling and wafer analysis.
• Team oriented and able to multitask. Techs and engineers are very friendly and patient.
• Start up systems being used for the day. Perform daily calibrations. Run tools for the day’s task.
• Learn/practice on any new tools that were recently acquired.

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma
• Able to lift 30-40 pounds
• Computer-literate
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Programs (Excel, Outlook, and Word)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Semiconductor Wafer handling
• Cleanroom experience
