Required Qualification:

• 40-hr/week hybrid position – 1 day onsite in Harrisburg per week.
• Must be a Pennsylvania resident within a 1-hour commute to Harrisburg area.

Job Description:

• Responsible for functioning as the Technical SME on an enterprise-wide system.
• Responsible for implementations of products/services that involve significant Commonwealth and federal oversight.
• Provides direct technical expertise to Executive applications involving national security.
• Delivers support and design for industry specific applications that require integration with statewide systems or applications.
• Interacts with executive level business users or technical experts.
• May function as a niche SME.
• Demonstrates expertise in teaching/conveying technical and/or functional courses/concepts.
• Develops appropriate work programs and use to effectively schedule tasks/assignments.

• Determines server sizing and configuration, printer configuration, bandwidth analysis and capacity planning.
• Monitor the availability of updates/upgrades to server hardware, tests and installs updates/upgrades. (SCCM/SCOM)

Required Skills:

• MS Windows Server experience in a large organization setting – Required 5 years of experience
• Microsoft IIS configuration and support – Required 5 years of experience
• HTTP Server/Apache support – Required 5 years of experience
• Knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux – Nice to have 2 years’ experience
• Knowledge of Active Directory – Nice to have 5 years
• Knowledge of TCP/IP networking – Nice to have 5 years
