Job Description

• We are seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server DBA to join our team, with a strong background in database administration and a proven track record of success in designing, implementing, and managing large-scale databases in both on-premises and cloud-based environments, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in SQL Server DBA and be proficient in AWS services, including RDS, EC2, S3, and IAM.
• The Senior SQL Server DBA will be responsible for ensuring the performance, security, and availability of our databases, as well as designing and implementing database solutions to meet the evolving needs of our organization.
• Work location is Fort Worth, must be available to come onsite for in-person cross training with the SQL server DBA team as needed.
• The client is looking for someone with advanced SQL Server DBA skills, some Cloud experience, and already comfortable partnering with application teams to perform DBA tasks assigned.
• 3-5 years of experience as a SQL Server DBA, with a strong background in database administration, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
• 3-5 years of experience with database migration, upgrade, and consolidation, including migrations between on-premises and cloud-based environments
• 2-3 years of proven experience with strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with development teams, cloud engineering teams, and other stakeholders
