Job Description

Note:

 

Driving Own vehicle and need to have own laptop, basic tools including screwdriver and pliers

Travel away from home for several weeks on demand as required

Shift work required upon demand.

Physically lift a minimum of 25 pounds (12 kilos)

(Traveling all over country, mostly close to home state, mileage and travel expenses will be reimbursed)

 

Pay Range: $35 – 38/hr The pay rate may differ depending on your skills, education, experience, and other qualifications.

Job Responsibility:

 

  • Daily reporting (project number, site, hours on-site, hours travel, etc.)
  • Weekly expense submission
  • Project specific reporting (self-audits, virtual audits, weekly updates, milestone reporting, etc.).Verify completion of service delivery
  • Escalates project issues and risks by interfacing with project personnel toinclude customers, and suppliers
  • Monitor implementation in accordance with time, cost, and quality/standards
  • Scheduling activities (CE pre-calls, last-minute swap outs, reschedules)
  • Maintain access status, updating and increasing as needed
  • Maintain training records, updating and increase as needed
  • Maintain deployment tools and software (including certifications and calibrations)
  • Lead, supervise, and direct assignments
  • Understand and use established safety practices
  • Understand quality requirements and have the ability to implement quality control processes
  • Perform power verification and preliminary hardware testing of out of service equipment (OOS)
  • Read and stay current on installation documentation.
  • Read and interpret engineering specs, prints, and drawings.
  • Demonstrate proper use of tools.
  • Perform all physical and mechanical installation activities.
  • Maintain on-site job records and administration tracking.
  • Perform power and grounding installations on equipment and small power plants.
  • Perform power verification and power-up of equipment.
  • Plan, manage logistics and execute physical installation of hardware on one or multiple sites.
  • Perform preliminary hardware testing in an out of service environment.
  • Lead Site Teams (Site Team Leader assignment)
  • When necessary, use a Personal Computer and various software applications (email, Microsoft Office, Excel, etc.)
  • Travel away from home for several weeks on demand as required
  • Shift work required upon demand.
  • Physically lift a minimum of 25 pounds (12 kilos)
  • Conduct work assignments, communicate, dress and assist customer in a professional manner.

 

Upskill:

 

  • Skill level evaluations (Installation skill levels)
  • Boot camps & Online Learning Center (Tester skill levels)
  • Provide shadowing and hands on training

 

Qualification & skills:

 

  • Have a minimum of 3 years accumulated experience or equivalent as determined bythe Installation Supplier’s training process and demonstrated to the TCrepresentative upon request, proficiency in the system (Network Elements 1, 2, 3,and 4) being worked on, or hold a Certificate of Completion from a training facilityproviding an appropriate curriculum. Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, or mathematics
  • Ability to demonstrate good analytical and problem-solving skills and communicate
    results in a structured manner
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
  • Ability to perform the following work operations or job activities without supervisionor direction:
  • Addition or removal of common systems equipment hardware.
  • Addition or removal of wiring and connections (on non-working equipmentonly).
  • Lead verification/continuity testing.
  • Analysis of job specifications and drawings.
  • Understand the Scope of Work (SOW) and write comprehensive Job ChangeOrder (JCO) summaries.
  • Provide work assignments to Skill Level 1 and 2 Installers.
  • Prepare a Method of Procedure (MOP).
  • Write Job Information Memorandums (JIMs).
  • Resolve job specification and/or drawing problems.
  • Mark/correct office record drawings.
  • In-process and final quality inspections.
  • Be capable of performing additions, removals, and modifications on workingequipment and circuits. Skill Level 4 work operations/job activities may include:
  • Circuit modifications
  • Software additions or upgrades
  • Power transition work
  • Addition or removal of batteries.
